A west Semitic goddess of fertility and war in ancient mythology. Anath is also the name of a Brooklyn based indie folk band formed by French Israeli singer songwriter from Tunisian descent, Anath Benais, and Chilean producer and multi-instrumentalist, Pablo Vergara. In their debut album Dark Lullaby, Anath explores autobiographical themes, nomadic identities, and wonderland fantasy. Dream pop lullabies for the everlasting childhood. The album was recorded in Chile, Paris, and Brooklyn, where they reside.
